Every two years accommodation establishments voluntarily submit themselves to inspection by an independent expert, who assigns Suns in order to help you determine what level of accommodation to choose. Where no Suns have been assigned the applicable establishment has elected not to submit itself for inspection.

Our rivers are safe for boating, canoeing and all river watersports. The Kariega and Bushman's Rivers are navigable for 15 and 33 kilometres respectively. Upriver one can view a host of indigenous bird life from the colourful sunbird to the soaring fish eagle. Wildlife can be spotted along some parts of the banks of the rivers. Addo National Elephant Park, Shamwari Game Reserve, Kariega and Sibuya Game Reserves are also close to Kenton for those who wish to see the Big 5.
