Wintersett Farm River Cabins

Tucked away in a secluded spot on the banks of the Bushmans River. Reachable only by 4×4, Wintersett offers a space to disconnect from the outside world, surrounded by unspoilt bush in the beautiful Eastern Cape.

Villa Layout:

• The main Villa bungalow has an open plan kitchen & living room with dining table with an indoor fire place, full size fridge, microwave and 4 plate stove top;
• Also, a large veranda overlooking the river and the main bedroom with queen bed & river views;
• There is a double sleeper couch in living area;
• Seperate indoor toilet and shower;
• Undercover braai area a few feet away;
• Fire pit overlooking the river.
• Tucked into the bush is our unique 2nd bedroom, the VAN, only a minute’s walk away from the main Villa;
• Beautifully wood panelled with queen bed Cosy sitting area inside;
• Its very own private deck with river views.

Cabin Layout: 

• One main upstairs bedroom with double bed and veranda – sleeps 2
• Two day beds downstairs in open-plan living area with veranda
• Open plan kitchen and living area with dining room table
• Indoor bathroom with toilet and basin
• Outdoor gas shower with toilet
• Grassy ar eas around cabin for parking or chilling out on the lawn
• Covered Boma area with braai
• Stone fire pit/braai
• Private Jetty

WHAT TO BRING:

• This bungalow is self catering so bring all your favourite foods especially for the braai and Skottle;
• Kitchen comes fully equipped;
• Swimming costumes for jumping off the jetty with and having fun in the river All linen and bathing towels are included but please bring your own river towels;
• Books and magazines so you can while away the time relaxing by the river, there is electricity but no WiFi;
• Binoculars! We have sighted over 100 species of birds around the area Our jetty is an idyllic spot to fish from so please bring your fishing gear warm gear as it can get cold down by the river;
• We are pet friendly so your furry family are welcome too.

Getting to us: The adventure starts via 4 x4 or boat access. Villa is about 4km up the Bushmans  river Approximately 10-15 min away from Kenton on Sea village.
